Practicing Mindfulness in Nature

  • By Ashley
  • In Uncategorized

The Reconnecting to Our Nature community believes that practicing mindfulness in an outdoor setting is one of the most holistic and natural ways to heal a broken soul. I wanted to take the time to share exactly why we believe this, hopefully giving you a deeper understanding of the human and nature connection.

One reason we love mindfulness so much is that everyone is capable of it. Mindfulness is a universal human ability that is not only easy to learn, but can be found and practiced everywhere. It’s known as the practice of being aware of where we are and what we are doing in the present moment. Mindfulness is also about letting things such as noise, sound, smells, and thoughts pass without judgement. Like anything, leading a mindful life takes practice, but putting energy towards this can provide amazing health benefits.

To be yourself requires extraordinary intelligence. You are blessed with that intelligence; nobody need give it to you; nobody can take it away from you. He who lets that express itself in its own way is a ‘Natural Man.
A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because her trust is not on the branch but on its own wings. Always believe in yourself.
